New Radio Station Completed at Daystar!!
(May, 2003)

Paul Harkness, manager of radio station KDNW (www.kdnw.org) in Duluth (one of Northwestern College radio stations), just returned from a week at Daystar University's Athi River campus working with the Communications Department. Paul set-up the transmitter and antenna and ran tests. He also worked with the Daystar staff to teach them to use the equipment. The station will be called SHINE-FM, 103.1 FM. We thank the Lord for Northwestern Collge / KTIS and their wonderful, dedicated people who have given of their time and resources to assist in this project!

The antenna going up on top of the Communications building at the Athi River campus of Daystar
Not as memorable as the raising the flag at Iwo Jima, but the Daystar staff was very excited about raising the antenna into place!
The antenna can be seen on the right side of the Communications building
