U.S. is the U.S. support organization of Daystar
University (DU), a private Christian liberal arts college offering both B.A. and
M.A. degrees to over 1,900 full time students in Nairobi, Kenya. Daystar U.S.
is responsible for raising prayer and financial support, handling U.S. public
relations, and for recruiting, qualifying, and sending short and long-term missionaries
to DU. Daystar U.S. is a 501(c)3 organization. All donations are tax-deductible, as allowed by IRS regulations. Executive Director: Todd Rasmuson

Daystar Canada is the Canadian support office of Daystar Univeristy. It is responsible for raising prayer and financial support and handling Canadian public relations for Daystar University.

| Daystar University is headed byVice Chancellor: Dr. Godfrey Nguru. Dr. Nguru served at Daystar for fourteen years as Associate Professor, Dean, and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) before he left in 1999 to become Principal at St. Paul’s United Theological College (Anglican) in Limuru, Kenya. The 58-year-old new Vice Chancellor holds the Ed.D. degree and the M.S. degree in Educational Administration and Planning from the University of Tennessee. He earned his B.Ed. degree from the University of East Africa in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. Our highly trained, international faculty are all committed Christians and come from several African, Asian and Western nations. The majority have Master's degrees and many have earned doctorates. These included missionaries and volunteer faculty who bring specialized expertise as well as their own financial and prayer support. |
