Denny Morrow
Executive Director
DENNY MORROW is the Interim Executive Director for Daystar U.S. A decade ago, Denny held the same post here at Daystar and for the past six years has served on the Daystar U.S. Board. He returns to the leadership post following Todd Rasmuson's resignation.
Most recently, he was Associate Executive Director of ReachGlobal, with responsibility for international education, medical centers, crisis response, and humanitarian programs all over the globe.
For most of his life, however, he has been an educator. Denny was the Dean of the Graduate School and doctoral program director at Bethel University. He is a former classroom teacher, coach, principal, superintendent, and researcher. Denny was also a Bush Leadership Fellow leading a research project on charter schools at Harvard University, and a LBJ Fellow in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Denny’s international experience is as the principal of Hong Kong International School in the 1980s, and of course, with Daystar University. He is a frequent speaker on leadership and international education.
Denny grew up in Minneapolis, MN. His university degrees were earned at the University of Minnesota (B.A. & Ph.D.) and the University of St. Thomas (M.A.). He has been married to his wife, Pat, for 38 years. They have three adult children, and seven grandchildren. |
