SUMMER WITH DAYSTAR
Summer still remains my favorite season. The warm weather gives me the perfect excuse to spend more time outdoors with my family and friends. The friends and family of Daystar have been busy this summer as well!
Daystar Falcons rugby player, Patrick Odongo, beat unspeakable odds when he competed in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Just a few months prior to the Olympic games he sustained a break to his jaw, which jeopardized his chances of playing in the games. Well, God had a plan for him to represent his country and healed Patrick in time to compete this year!
Daystar launched its Master's in Nursing this month! DU's nursing program has taken leaps and bounds, becoming one of Daystar's most popular and impactful programs. Daystar nurses bring a different level of healthcare to Kenya, and this new master's program will serve to take their education to new heights!

Curt Hostetter, the son of late Dr. Ray Hostetter, visited Daystar along with his wife Hoffy. Dr. Ray Hostetter had partnered with the late VC, Stephen Talitwala, in making Daystar what it is today. The Hostetters were received by Daystar faculty, some of which had hosted his parents many years ago.
Daystar launched automated cards for cafeteria and transportation on September 1st. This new automation will create more ease for students during their studies.
