The Daystar U.S. Board traveled from near and far for the spring board meeting, held in Minneapolis April 16 & 17. The meeting was a time to reconnect, discuss important matters pertaining to Daystar University and Daystar U.S., and to have a little fun. Thank you to each of our board members for your commitment and passion for Daystar University.

Mary Gosselin started her journey at Daystar U.S. on August 1, 2013 as the Executive Administrative Assistant. She is always quick to lend a helpful hand and inspires others with her positive attitude.

This is the story of a special conference table in Kenya. A table that was built with much more care and intention than most tables. It serves as a symbol of the Body of Christ and carrying out God’s mission across the world.

During every visit to Daystar University, our staff is overwhelmed by the wisdom and gratitude poured out by the scholarship students supported through our office. As each of the students share stories of their childhood, their financial hardships, and their seemingly impossible dreams, several themes standout. This blog series is inspired by these students who are now our teachers in the lessons of life, faith, and service.

March 8, 2016 is International Women’s Day, a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Daystar University is not short on women to honor for their achievements. Today we spotlight Dr. Martha Wanjiku Kiarie-Makara, the Dean of the School of Science Engineering and Health at Daystar University.
