For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

-Jeremiah 29:11

Meet Hezron Bornface Nyangosi

Currently Hezron is a nursing student at Daystar University! He has a passion for helping others especially in the area of health and wellness. Both his parents have passed away, his mother after he started at Daystar. He would like to see that others from his community stay well. Currently he hopes become a midwife. “With that [knowledge] I can be able to help so many mothers in hospitals to have a safe attended delivery.”  But his long range plans are to pursue a PhD in Nursing and even eventually be able to affect policy on the governmental level. He also has dreams of starting a children’s home.

Being fed spiritually at Daystar is one of the highlights of being a student. He’s involved in a weekly Bible study group where he’s a discussion leader. He’s also very much enjoyed the Old Testament Survey class that takes students through the challenges of my figures in the Bible and yet they saw God come through for them. “This is quite an encouragement and hope giving.”

Serving the elderly, needy and orphaned are his passions! Lots of lofty dreams and goals have to start somewhere. Listen to this brief message from Hezron.

You are making a difference in student’s lives that would not otherwise be able to study at Daystar. Thank you. Or to put it in Hezron’s words: “I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your kindness and support. Your generosity and thoughtfulness have made a significant difference in my life, and I truly appreciate all you have done. Your actions have shown me the true meaning of selflessness and have inspired me greatly. Thank you so much for being such an incredible person.”
