The immediate move to e-learning during the pandemic has become a catalyst for creating a new and more effective method of teaching students. Daystar has had to adjust with intense training, infrastructure capacity enhancements, and periodic surveys to assess emerging student needs. For the disrupted January 2020 semester, the efforts paid off with 94.79% of Daystar students successfully completing the semester. Daystar University was one of the first institutions in Kenya that seamlessly transitioned to e-Learning. “I have assured our students that none of them will be left behind,” promised President Laban.
