From Celebration to Impact: Daystar's Inaugural Alumni Gala Dinner

On September 25, 2026, nearly 350 alumni, students, faculty, partners, and friends of Daystar University gathered for the inaugural Alumni Gala Dinner, a landmark event that demonstrated the transformative power of a connected alumni community.

The evening brought together graduates spanning multiple decades, united by a shared commitment to the institution that helped shape their lives and careers. More than a networking and recognition event, the Gala became a compelling demonstration of alumni giving, collective responsibility, and investment in future generations of Daystar students.

Transforming Generosity into Opportunity

The centerpiece of the evening was a scholarship fundraising initiative aimed at supporting financially vulnerable students. Inspired by a matching challenge in which every shilling contributed attracted two additional shillings from friends and partners, attendees responded with remarkable generosity.

Celebrating Alumni Impact

The Gala also recognized 13 outstanding alumni and chapters whose achievements reflect Daystar's contribution to society through leadership, entrepreneurship, research, media, governance, community transformation, environmental stewardship, and faith-based service.
