Graduates Commissioned in Prayer this Week

November 11th, 2021

"My soul thirsts for God, for the living God."
Psalm 42:2 (ESV)

First, let me say Happy Veterans Day!  We are so very grateful for our veterans.  Thank you for your service and your sacrifice!

Tomorrow (Friday) is graduation day at Daystar University!  For students this is a big day - this is the end of their time as a student and the beginning of the next phase of their lives.  For many this means a life of service to their communities.

In last week's chapel you can watch as South Sudanese student, James Waregak (who happens to be a scholarship student), shared, “Daystar is releasing students out to the world and we need to pray that these students will become salt of the earth, that they will season the world out there, not in their own name, not in the name of Daystar but in the name of God.”

A student by the name of Benedict leads the prayer in this video.  This is a long video, but I think it is important to hear a student pouring out his heart in prayer.   You can watch the video by clicking on the photo below.

Please also pray for these graduates, that each one would continue to hunger and thirst for God alone and that they would seek Him for His plan in their lives.

Veterans, thank you again!  Also thank you so much for standing with Daystar graduates in prayer!

Blessings,

Alan
