The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever.
Psalm 111:10
It’s the beginning of a new semester at Daystar! This past week the university held new student orientation. There was an excitement in the air as students are learning about the ins and outs of daily life on the Daystar campuses. I’ve seen a few fun videos on Instagram. If you want to follow Daystar on IG they are @daystar_uni and they have a Facebook (Daystar University) page as well. The excitement is palpable.
This campus tour video was made by Daystar for those in Kenya interested in taking a look at the campuses – for parents and potential students. A couple things to remember: the floors of buildings are numbered differently than in America. In Kenya the start with “ground floor” and the next floor up is the “first floor” – this is what Americans would call the “second floor.” In Kenyan English, a dorm is called a hostel, and self-catering means it has a kitchen so the people living there can cook for themselves rather than visit one of the cafeterias. I think the rest is pretty self-explanatory.
Enjoy this 8-minute tour of both campuses.
