Dear Friend,

I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is with great happiness and joy that the Lord has enabled me to come this far and I do not take it for granted. I come from a humble background, and I am the second born from a family of eight; three girls and five boys. I bless the Lord for them. Things have been tough but God saw us through. We stayed with my father since we lost our mother when she was delivering our youngest. Through thick and thin I would love to testify that the Lord has never forsaken us for we have seen him fight our battles and we have always won. I thank God.  As a Christian I have stood with the verse that “I can do everything through Christ who gives me strength.”

Coming from a humble background I knew my stay at Daystar University was going to be hard since my father was not in a position to pay for my studies. But one thing that I knew was that God had a reason for bringing me to Daystar. It was hard but I came to know about the Daystar Financial Aid office and through God’s grace, I managed to do my exams and later received this scholarship. From there, things took a turn and I attended my classes with no struggle just like any other student. God’s grace was (and still is) sufficient for me each time I wanted to give up. I reminded myself that I had come a long way to give up.

Daystar University has been like a home to me, being here is one thing I cherish and do not regret at all. My student life has been of great achievement and growth. I was able to interact with different people and learned a lot. My studies as well are one thing that I will live to testify. I joined various ministries while at Daystar and learned more than just my career life. Daystar gave me a platform to grow spiritually, mentally, physically, and in my leadership skills. I have learned that one has to be a servant leader in order to serve others and this is one pillar that I choose to live by.

I am looking forward to continue building my career life as I help people where I can. I would also love to continue with my studies by the grace of God. I am looking forward to making someone smile one day just the way you gave me a reason to smile while at Daystar University.

My four years of study at Daystar University have come to an end and this was made possible by your sacrifice. You gave me reasons to smile each day. I woke up knowing I was going to attend classes without the fear of missing my exams. I would love to take this opportunity to say thank you and may the Almighty God bless you and your family abundantly. Supporting me for all these years calls for great sacrifice and I am so grateful, just know that you made my dreams of graduating at Daystar come true. You showed me that family and friends exist far and beyond our territories. God bless you.
