Daystar University School of Nursing
Daystar's School of Nursing Program started with just 4 students in 2010 and has since seen exponential growth. The school of nursing department served as the only nursing program open in all of Kenya during the Covid-19 pandemic. As a Christian program, the graduates bring HOPE and well-trained medical care to patients, helping to fill a dire void for excellent healthcare, now and for the future. The need for excellent training is therefore essential and fills a lacking healthcare gap in both Kenya and East Africa.
In the fall of 2021, a total of 474 students enrolled in the nursing program, up from 300 students in the previous semester. The school's current enrollment sits at 680 students. The growth of the program is astonishing. Daystar’s School of Nursing graduates have an excellent reputation in the field because of their integrity, work ethic, and Christian faith. As a result, all of last year’s graduates were able to obtain internships and subsequent employment. This is all because of God’s grace on Daystar.

The cost of phase one is $880,000 (not including furniture). Of this amount, Daystar University is covering $150,000 and Daystar U.S. is raising $730,000.
