Devote yourselves to prayer,
being watchful and thankful.
Daystar has launched a law school in the heart of Nairobi, a city ranking among the highest in the world for police corruption. New law facilities are in place, and professors are eager to start. However, the accreditation process has been long held up by legal issues within the accrediting body. The dean of the law school has informed us that this delay has hindered Daystar from advertising the program to prospective students and has caused great financial strains on the university to the tune of $20,000 per month.
Please pray with us that:
- Daystar’s School of Law would be accredited after its final on-site inspection on May 17th.
- God will draw 60 full-time students and 60 part-time students once the program is accredited.
- God will use Daystar graduates, trained with a strong Biblical and ethical viewpoint, to have a significant impact on Africa’s justice systems.
We strongly feel that Daystar’s School of Law has come “for such a time as this” (Esther 4:14) to produce lawyers of integrity who will not practice corruptly or be won by bribes, but will work for the good of the people.
